EyeQ is built for eye care practices with fail-closed controls for protected health information. This page summarizes product posture for launch testing. It is not a certification, attestation, or compliance claim.

What EyeQ does today

  • Server-side AI only. API keys stay on the server.
  • Default AI mode keeps patient-identifiable data out of vendor prompts until readiness gates pass.
  • Patient-specific AI stays disabled for a practice until vendor BAAs and PHI readiness checks complete.
  • AI drafts require provider review. EyeQ does not diagnose or auto-sign notes.
  • Patient messaging is portal-only in this phase. SMS and email messaging stay off.
  • Sandbox and demo data can be marked synthetic / test-only for simulation.

What EyeQ does not claim

  • Not HIPAA compliant as a blanket product claim.
  • Not ONC certified.
  • Not FDA cleared.
  • No fake live Google publishing or live clearinghouse submission.
